Since June 2018, Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy has published monthly reports about number of the social enterprises in Poland. The reports contain the data by voivodships.
According to this figures it is possible to see the changes, i.a.: increasing the number of these entities.
The total number of social enterprises amounted 840 entities (in October 2018). Between June and October last year, the total number of social enterprises increased by 196 entities which is 30%. Most of them are located in wielkopolskie (116 entities). The lowest number of social enterprises is in świętokrzyskie (only 13 entities). Between mention months, the major increasing was noticed in małopolskie – 156% (increasing by 39 entities to amount of 64). In lubuskie and pomorskie the total numbers stayed at the same level.
Table 1 presents the percentage of social enterprises in each voivodship in period June-October 2018.

It is possible to divide the voivodships due to the number of social enterprises (Chart 1). The first group would be consists of dolnośląskie, małopolskie, kujawsko-pomorskie, lubelskie, pomorskie, zachodniopomorskie, łódzkie, opolskie, świętokrzyskie and podlaskie. In these voivodships the number of social enterprises is rather low. In the second group would found the following voivodships: lubuskie, warmińsko-mazurskie, podkarpackie, mazowieckie, śląskie, wielkopolskie.
